1. When you save a link for a TED video, the app will automatically download both English and the translation language’s subtitles simultaneously.
For example, if your translation for TED is set at Spanish, the app will automatically download both English and Spanish subtitles.
2. Or you can download any subtitles in any languages later whenever you want(if available).
At first you need to open the ‘Subtitle setup page’.
You can do this by either
– from TED Talks list, execute ‘study’ menu at the right end of each lists. Once TED details page is open, execute ‘Setup-Subtitle’ menu.
– or from the ‘Currently playing’ page, execute the ‘Setup subtitle’ menu which consists of ‘SUB’ text under gear shape. If audio is playing, you will see the menu under the bottom. If video is playing, you will need to make the menu shown first by touching the video screen. (the menus will toggles ‘show’ and ‘hide’ whenever you touch the video screen.
Once the the ‘Subtitle setup page’ is opened,
there is the menu, ‘Get More Subtitles…’. Execute the menu and you will get a lot more subtitles as you want. Once you download new subtitle, you can assign it as main or sub subtitle newly.
